This program aims to eliminate unwanted factors by giving dogs the one-on-one attention and training they will need. MCK does not stop there, understanding the dog is only half the battle when it comes to a successful and long lasting adoption.
Absolutely! Here’s a more professional and catchy version:
Dogs are man's and woman's best friend, thriving together in mutual companionship. Over many years of volunteering with rescues and working as a dog trainer, I've found that the number one complaint is the complexity of the adoption process. The paperwork, background checks, waitlists, and unknown factors of adopting a rescue pup can be daunting. While it's crucial to vet potential adopters to protect our four-legged companions, we at MCK believe in a more personalized approach that ensures both the safety of the dogs and the satisfaction of the adopters.
By maintaining a small number of dogs in our care, the MCK team can efficiently and effectively process the numerous applications we receive. This allows us to match dogs with their forever homes more quickly while maintaining high standards of care.
At MCK, every rescue dog receives formal training during their stay with us. We focus on teaching basic commands, potty training, and, if time allows, off-leash work to protection. We also address behavioral issues that might otherwise lead to euthanasia in the shelter system.
(However we will NEVER adopt out an aggressive dog to the public)
Our adoption fees range from $550 to over $1500 sometimes more, depending on the level of training the dog has received. When you adopt from MCK, you're investing in a well-trained pup and gaining a support team dedicated to your success.
Adopters benefit from
* discounted boarding and training services,
* free 24/7 training and nutrition support via text or email for the life of the dog.
* 10lbs Raw food the dog was being fed
* Fully vetted
All potential adopters must complete an application and sign a contract before adopting. Each pup comes with a detailed cheat sheet on their behavior, training tips, and a nutrition guide.
We pour our hearts into ensuring our dogs are the best they can be once adopted. If you have specific questions, we are transparent about each dog's behavior and ideal living situation.
Our goal is to help as many dogs as possible. The system is overwhelmed, but programs like ours provide peace of mind to adopters and ensure that more dogs find and remain in loving homes.
WE currently adopt out to all 50 states and canada with initial meet and greet...Transport is available for extra fee.
MCK is pleased to announce the availability of Bolt for adoption. Bolt is an exceptional dog with a comprehensive foundation
* in basic obedience and off-leash training.
He exhibits remarkable social behavior with other dogs, individuals, and children, making him an outstanding candidate for any loving home.
At just a year and a half old, Bolt still has some growth ahead of him. He is fully vetted and ready to meet potential adopters.
Bolt would do best in:
* Sport home
*highly active family home (he's coming from being a gym owners dog so use to being very active )
* Detection or protection prospect (would need to be evaluated for detection but passed the protection eval with flying colors)
( He will come with contract to be fixed at an older age. )
Fee: $1500

Meet Jack (formerly known as Milo)
Jack came to us through no fault of his own. His previous adopters, unfortunately, didn’t have the skill or energy levels to meet his needs, especially with the arrival of a new baby. Instead of Jack being sent to a loud, overcrowded shelter where he might have struggled to find a second chance, we welcomed him into our program to ensure he gets the care and opportunities he deserves.
From the notes left by his previous adopters, Jack has spent time around young children, including an autistic, nonverbal child, with whom he did wonderfully. They emphasized his gentle and patient nature with kids, but we will, of course, test him ourselves to confirm his comfort levels and reactions in different scenarios.
Jack does well meeting new people but may need a little time to warm up, especially in unfamiliar situations. While he can be a bit nervous initially, he has never shown any signs of aggression during his time with us or his previous family.
We haven’t had Jack in our care for long, so his personality is still unfolding as he settles in. So far, he’s shown himself to be curious yet indifferent to other dogs. He observes them playing but hasn’t fully joined in.
Training and Behavior
Jack needs work on leash walking, as he was previously walked on a harness, which led to some pulling. However, we’re confident we can correct this easily with proper training. His obedience is basic—he knows commands like "sit," but he would benefit from more foundational training to improve his skills and responsiveness.
Jack’s Ideal Home
It’s currently winter, so we haven’t had the chance to test Jack’s interest in water, but his adventurous spirit suggests he might enjoy it come warmer weather.
Jack is a wonderful dog with so much potential. As we continue to learn more about him and his personality, we’ll keep updating his progress. If you think you’re the right match for Jack, reach out to us to meet this incredible boy!
How does this sound? Would you like me to add or adjust anything?
