My Canines Keeper Board and Train Program sets the foundation for various dog training disciplines. I pride myself in being able to ease the anxiety an owner may feel about a Board and Train Program. With 24 hour surveillance, daily updates and 8 years of experience. We make sure the MCK program will leave your dog with the foundation of a lifetime.

Obedience Board and Train:
Dogs will stay with me for various lengths of time depending on the package chosen. While with me the dog will undergo training sessions throughout the day in various environments from in house training , going to the store, trips to the parks and training in busy city settings on the following skills.
- Savage 6 (Come, Sit, Stay, Down, Place, heel)
- Core commands (leave it, No, Off)
- On Leash Obedience and Recall
While Board and Trains are not a cure all they do provide a unique opportunity to allow the dogs to be trained away from the owner, where a professional can see the dogs habits and immediately know how to structure the dog to get the results wanted. Owners will need to continue with training at home to make sure the dog stays on track. But the foundation will be laid long as you follow the plan given to you at the end of the stay.

Two Week Puppy Board & Train:
This is an intensive program where we teach your puppy the foundation to being the best family dog around. The Savage 7 (Come, Sit, Down, Stay, Heel , No, Place) are the 7 basic commands all dogs should know!
During our puppy program we focus HEAVILY on off leash recall. Teaching a puppy early to come when called will give your adult dog the freedom of a lifetime.
However socialization and confidence building is also a HUGE part of a growing puppies development. To have a confident adult dog that can handle all situations with ease you must expose them young the right way. This Program is best for owners who may not have the time to set the foundation themselves or just want that extra professional help to make sure their pup starts off with the best paw forward.
This program includes:

* 2 Lessons after and before the pup goes home

Off Leash Board and Train:
Off Leash is a freedom that must be earned not given! When letting your dog off leash in a secure or unsecured area, it is vital that you know your dog will come back to you when called no matter the distractions around! Our program takes recall extremely serious. Its one of the best commands you can teach your pup. Our program will teach your dog to come when called based on your voice. We do teach the dog and owner how to use the e-collar for back up, however we prefer for the dog to listen to the voice command, not just the e-collar when being recalled.
During our off leash programs dogs will start in house building their literacy on what the owners recall word means (the recall word does not need to be come or here. Have fun, some clients use their favorite character names to make it fun and enjoyable.) Then we go off in to the world and proof these commands from hiking trips to recalling your dog in the middle of doggy playgroup. When you say come your dog should come to you!
Dogs in our off leash program also learn CORE commands. The words needed for them to navigate life with humans (Leave It, No , Sit , Place, Off)

This is the most intensive program we offer here. We train the dog as if it was our own. Following our program criteria and goals, we set an unbreakable foundation in your dog that can be matched to our own personal dogs levels of obedience and socialization. Month long Board & Trains are a great option for those who wish to gain a dog who is well versed in being a well mannered family pet.

Long Island Day Trains
MCK Day Trains: (only available to clients in the suffolk county LI Area)
MCK day trains are a daycare like no other. We offer an array of supervised activities, where dogs can burn energy safely, and learn new skills and behaviors while building confidence.and every day skils a family pet should know.

What We Do:
The structure of a day train is very important. Oftentimes daycares can be chaotic for the dog. Here we make sure EVERY dog gets the attention and respect they deserve.
Playgroups:
All dogs go through proper introductions
- Pack walks minimum of two to three on leash interactions is a must
- On leash meetings
- Muzzled meeting if needed,
- Then on leash play then finally off leash.
Before going into structured off leash play groups all dogs must do a minimum of two to three on leash interactions to determine who the pup best gets along with all dogs no matter the temperment all dogs must undergo our screening process to determine if play groups are suitable for that dog.
Building lasting friendships and reducing bullying and unwanted behaviors is our goal with our playgroups.
Training:
MCK DAYTrains WAS DESIGNED to give your dog a safe structured activity to do throughout the day to burn energy, learn new skills and behaviors, and become more social.
while also learning and practicing every day helpful skills and commands every family pet should know. Sit, Stay, Dowm, Recall Foundation, Leash manners are just a few commands your go will be learning whil ie with us.
Dogs Not Good with Others:
For dogs that are not good with other dogs. They get the same training as other pups but their socialization work is done on leash or muzzled.
Play/ Activity time for solo dogs is hiking trips or beach trips, agility and fetch in the huge enclosed yard to name just a few activities.
Dogs not good with others will still go on structured pack walks to get social work done in a safe way+ but will not be permitted in playgroups.
Overall, our daycare is designed to make sure your dog is not only safe but mentally and physically exhausted once they go home, we aim to give each dog a well-rounded experience while they are here with us, and just switch up their day-to-day activities.

Day Train Pricing Details:
All packages include training
(Day Trains get 3 15-20 min session per stay)
Location: Right now MCK daycare services only handle Long Island residence within a 30 minute distance from our home Campus Holtsville new york.
Pick up Drop offs included in the pricing discount given to those who drop off .
Dogs can be picked up or dropped off at our home Campus anytime between 6:30am to 8:30pm
We can accommodate later times on request when needed.
Pick ups start at 8:00am Drop offs start at 6:30pm
Day Train Packages:
All Packages include Training and pick up drop off if you opt out of pick up drop off discount is applied to weekly total.
